At our
academy all pupils are treated equally and provided with a wide range of
experiences and suitable support to ensure that regardless of any disability
they all reach their full potential. This support can be support from the
speech and language team, or if English is not your first language this may be
language support to help your child learn English.
In addition
we run support sessions for any individuals or groups of pupils who are not
making accelerated progress. To decide which children need to be supported
pupil progress meetings take place every six weeks between class teachers and
the senior leadership team. During these meetings we look at both individual
and group progress in reading, writing and maths. Pupils are bench-marked
against national progress, ensuring that your child is making at least the same
progress as pupils across England.
